The Warren Philharmonic Orchestra's 50th season features two public concerts on Sunday, November 1, 2015, and April 17, 2016, at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic Street, NE, Warren. Concerts begin at 3 p.m. Susan Davenny Wyner is music director and conductor. Season subscriptions are available. Single performance tickets are available at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free, when accompanied by an adult.

   Other 2015-2016 Orchestra projects include:

• Full orchestra school concerts with individual instrument demonstrations held October 30 at Lakeview High School

• Art in Music Contest, where students were invited to create art about the orchestra's instruments and its music. Contest winners were recognized and their work displayed at the November 1 concert.

• Strings of Joy program, where Trumbull County students in grades through through seven are eligible for free violin lessons

• Our 50th Anniversary Celebration and concert for the community
